Day 14 Saturday July 16th, 2016 Sometimes just getting it done is enough!
Morning Hike : Stop Sign - 11. 6 km
Well that dreaded old STOP sign. |My first trip is was my measure of fitness and progress. This time around I am doing that with the 10k. I chose to do STOP sign instead of a pretty hike this week. It totally kicked my butt! I didn't have a goal as far as time, I just wanted to enjoy the beautiful scenery and get it done. I got to the top in 1 hr 12 min. Last time was under an hour but I was also 30 lbs lighter too. I was OK with just getting it done. Lots of room for improvement! It was a great calorie burn.
BREAKFAST
There is a huge break on Sat before the 1 class at 11:30 so I decided to do my own thing. I have a blister underneath my big toe in the crack - ugh - so stayed out of running shoes.
STATIONARY BIKE - 35 min to burn some extra calories
WEIGHT LIFTING - 1hr 8 min I actually enjoyed it, need to do much more at home!
LUNCH
Floated in the pool and relaxed all afternoon.
Got dinner from the resort to go and went for a roadtrip to Mesquite Nevada to try my hand at the slot machines. Had a nice break. It was nice to wear real clothes - they are getting too big!!!! Was nice to do my hair and put on some makeup - first time in real clothes in 2 weeks!
Message of the day - It's Ok just to be OK sometimes. Somedays you can bring more to whatever you do and some days you can't and just get it done. Do your best that that day gives you - it's not always 100%
